PREP  (Parish Religious Education Program)

Classes in the OLPH PREP are held for students (Grades 1-6) attending non-Catholic schools. Our mission is to strengthen, supplement, and reinforce the knowledge of the faith and of the love of God that is introduced in the home by the parents. The PREP Calendar for the current school year can be found here: PREP CALENDAR 2021-2022

PREP Registration - 2022

As of March 1, 2022 Registration Will Be Open for our 2 Week Summer Intensive Program (June 20 – July 1).  Alternatively, Registration for the Traditional Fall PREP (meets weekly from Sept 2022 to May 2023) will be opened on June 1, 2022.

Summer intensive will be a virtual program; however, the Fall PREP will be an “in person" program as in years past (prior to the Covid-19 pandemic).

The Tuition Fee for Both programs is as follows:

      • For 1 student: $145
      • For 2 or More in the same family:  $210 (family rate).

Other IMPORTANT notes regarding the Registration Process:

  • Summer Intensive Registration Closes on June 1st; no registrations will be accepted after that date.
  • For Traditional PREP we encourage you to register and pay by August 31st.  Tuition Fees will increase effective September 1, 2022 as follows:
      • for 1 student:     $180
      • for 2 or more:    $245/family.

For Returning Families:  If you were registered in our PREP program this past year (2021-2022), either Intensive or traditional, then you will be receiving an email from Parish Giving containing the registration link for the upcoming school year. Simply follow the instructions contained in that email.

For NEW Families: If you are registering for the first time in the OLPH PREP , then you will need to contact the DRE, Michele Hundermark, at 610-543-5448 to get registration information for NEW families.  You won’t be able to sign up without doing this!

Sadlier Online Curriculum: Once you have registered, and prior to the first day of PREP, you will receive an email with details about how to log on to the SADLIER CHRIST IN US website. This email will contain separate user names and passwords for parents and children (grades 1-6) within each family unit.  It is important that the students use their own user names to logon and complete each week's assignments as that is the only way the students progress can be measured.  Parent accounts contain additional resources to help them participate in the weekly lessons and to assist in the religious education experience of their children.

Note: 7th Grade Students will use a different specialized curriculum (a targeted "Confirmation" program from Sadlier). For more information please contact the DRE, Michele Hundermark, at 610-543-5448.
