PREP  (Parish Religious Education Program)

Classes in the OLPH PREP are held for students (Grades 1-6) attending non-Catholic schools. Our mission is to strengthen, supplement, and reinforce the knowledge of the faith and of the love of God that is introduced in the home by the parents. The PREP Calendar for the current school year can be found here: PREP CALENDAR 2023-2024

2024-2025 PREP Registration is NOW OPEN

As of April 5, 2024 Registration Will Be Open for both our 2 Week Summer Intensive Program and for the Traditional Fall PREP, which meets weekly from Sept 2024 to May 2025.

Summer intensive will be a virtual program and run from June17 through June 28; however, the Fall PREP will be an “in person" program. PLEASE NOTE: Summer Intensive is for returning families only.

The Tuition Fee for Both programs is as follows:

      • for 1 student:                                 $200
      • for 2 or more in the same family:   $260 (family rate).

Other IMPORTANT notes regarding the Registration Process:

  • Summer Intensive Registration Closes on June 1st; no registrations will be accepted after that date.
  • For Traditional PREP we encourage you to register and pay by August 31st.  Tuition Fees will increase effective on September 1, 2024 as follows:
    • for 1 student:     $210
    • for 2 or more:    $270/family.

For Returning Families:  If you were registered in our PREP program this past year (2023-2024), either Summer Intensive or Traditional, and are a returning family, please do not fill out a form. You will receive an Email from Parish Giving on the morning that registration opens (April 5,2024). This email will contain login credentials for a Parish Giving account that was created for you. There is no need for you to create a Parish Giving account.

For NEW Families: If you are registering for the first time in the OLPH PREP , then you will need to contact the DRE, Michele Hundermark, at 610-543-5448 to get registration information for NEW families.  You won’t be able to sign up without doing this!

Sadlier Online Curriculum: Once you have registered, and prior to the first day of PREP, you will receive an email with details about how to log on to the SADLIER CHRIST IN US website. This email will contain separate user names and passwords for parents and children (grades 1-6) within each family unit.  It is important that the students use their own user names to logon and complete each week's assignments as that is the only way the students progress can be measured.  Parent accounts contain additional resources to help them participate in the weekly lessons and to assist in the religious education experience of their children.

Note: 7th Grade Students will use a different specialized curriculum (a targeted "Confirmation" program from Sadlier). For more information please contact the DRE, Michele Hundermark, at 610-543-5448.
