Dear Parent:
As you know, your child is scheduled to receive Confirmation in the fall of 2015. Preparation for this important sacrament has already begun. In striving to meet our commitment to assist you in the Religious Education of your child, we are offering a Confirmation week over the summer. This week is optional. We have offered this program in the past and the response was positive. If you would like to speak to a participating family from the past please call the office at 610-543-5448.
I would like to stress that this week is an opportunity for your child to explore all of the possible questions they may have surrounding this sacrament. Information will be available to help the children in choosing a name or a sponsor. This is not a class but an opportunity for their Spiritual development. We will provide the candidates, sponsors, and their families a profound experience as they explore the Gifts of the Holy Spirit who dwells within the Church.
The week will begin on Monday, June 15, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Rectory Basement and will go through Thursday, June 18, 2015. The cost of this week is $25.00 to cover the cost of the books and supplies for the students. We would like to open this week not only to the students but, also their parents and or sponsors.
